TravelManagers Narre Waren South is the winner of the 2018 Casey Cardinia Business Award for best Home Based Business.
As a personal travel manager, owner Nicole Edgar says her vision is to create life-long positive memories for her travelling clients.
Ms Edgar has spent the past 10 years sending her clients all over the world, through her mobile travel agency business, TravelManagers (Narre Warren South).
In her acceptace speech Ms Edgar said she had liked “every moment“ of the past 10 years running her own businesses.
“I’ll keep slugging away, onwards and upwards and enjoy the journey,“ she told the assembled audience.
Ms Edgar says her goal is to enhance her clients’ overall travel experience through designing personalised, customised and tailor-made leisure holidays.
“I enjoy combining my passions of travel and photography, and I design customised travel journeys, specialising in cruise, rail and family holidays,“ Ms Edgar said.
Her passion for travel has taken her to more than 40 countries.
Her own love affair with travel began as a child, when she was taken on family holidays, both overseas and on road trips around Australia after which she was firmly bitten by the travel bug.
It was an easy decision to follow her passion for travel and turn it into a career.
“Being a personal travel manager is a very positive and great job to do, and is one that I’m passionate about – creating, planning and organising all sorts of holidays, which meet and exceed my client’s expectations and realises their dreams!“
Ms Edgar enjoys writing about her travels in a blog on the TravelManagers website. Recent posts include ’Top 5 things to do in London with kids’ and ’Top travel tips for travelling with teens’ reflecting the adventures she has shared with her own family.
Át the TravelManagers 2015 conference, Ms Edgar was named the winner of the Spirit Award which recognises ’someone whose everyday attitude and principles inspire and impregnate the thoughts, feelings and actions of all of us at TravelManagers’.
