The 2018 Casey Cardinia Business Award for Manufacturing has been awarded to IIL Australia.

IIL Australia is a business to business enterprise, importing steel pipes, tubes and coils from an overseas mill.

Its products are marketed and distributed all over Australia to distributors, re-sellers and fabricators. The main applications for IIL Australia products is in rural and security fencing, farm gates and structural / construction uses.

The company, which launched in 2014, is registered in Victoria with an office in Hallam.

IIL Australia was incorporated in May 2014 as a trading arm of International Industries Limited (IIL) to represent the group’s interest in the Asia Pacific region. The aim was to provide world-class products manufactured to Australian Standards, backed by dedicated customer service focused on steel supplies and plastic pipes.

IIL is an International Associate Member of the Galvanizers Association of Australia.

With a proven track record, an ever expanding global footprint and a growing list of high quality steel and plastic products, IIL is proud to bring over 50 years of experience and expertise to the Australian market.

The company’s vision is to become a one million tonne business by 2020.

The firm’s management hopes to do this by becoming a preferred supplier in Australia, achieving a significant share of the pipe and sheet market, as a self-sustaining, profitable, environmentally responsible enterprise.“
