Cranbourne’s Highview Accounting and Financial has won a pretigious national business award.

The firm was named the winner of the ‘Workplace of the Year 2018’ at the Optus My Business Awards at a gala dinner in Sydney on Friday 9 November.

This month Highview was also named among the Australian Financial Review’s Top 100 Accounting Firms for 2018 coming in at number 70.

The Optus My Business Award judges were impressed with Highview’s focus on relationships and customer experience.

“Highview is a highly respected company that is building and nurturing long-term relationships with its clients and associates in an area of great importance” the judges said.

“The business is also an active thought leader in the industry and supports a number of initiatives that serve to raise the profiles of proactive tax accounting, insurance and financial planning services.”

The judges also recognised the company’s commitment to fundraising and supporting the community.

In 2017 and 2018 combined Highview raised over $35,000 for the Alannah and Madeline Foundation.

“They’re doing it because their hearts are in the right places and they really want to make a difference,” said foundation spokesperson Romilly Cumming.

“They were our second biggest fundraiser for the whole of 2017. Really, I think it’s a testament to not only the kind of culture and ethos that underpins Highview, but also the kind of people that work there and the relationships that they have.”

Partner Darren Crowther said the whole team was humbled and proud to be winner of the Optus My Business Award.

“This award is a huge pat on the back for all the hard work we’ve done, and adds an extra layer of credibility to our business. Awards like these solidify our reputation and give further confidence to new and current clients that they’ve made the right choice with

Highview.”
